Peter the Peacock
Peter is funky and flashy and never doing anything without a hen’s consent first.
Like all of the other animals and subjects of my art, Peter was created using layer upon layer of paint to create interesting (and bold, in his case!) colors and textures throughout. Painted on a mustard background, the purple, greens and many shades of blue are brilliant in person. It’s a hard one to fully capture.
This handsome peacock is an original painting on stretched canvas measuring 20x20 inches. With the handmade, custom floater frame, it measures 22x22 inches total. The frame is made of real wood, is very thick and heavy duty. The frame is matte black. It arrives ready to hang with hardware mounted on the back for a flush-against-the-wall look. This canvas and frame is a thick, gallery wrapped canvas.
